Frequently asked questions

This system can work on any saw, the only question is mounting. For most saws, you can just use our system mounting at 3 1/8" up from the base. This is the easiest option and offers the most flexibility and enables all system features. If your fence is taller than 5" you might need to cut off the top of the factory fence to access the insert set screws and bracket mounts. The fence is 6" tall anodized aluminum and is meant to be a permanent fixture on your saw that will last a lifetime. If your fence is shorter than our system slot at 3 1/8", you can easily locate the fence where you want and backdrill through the factory fence holes to add new mounting holes to our fence. This is the way we used to mount this system before the mounting slot. Unfortunately, you would lose the extra sliding feature that really increases the system flexibility.
